Do you wear a thong swimsuit around the house or in the pool? If so, what do the neighbors think? I prefer a bikini but that’s what I wear in my pool, washing the car, even going to the mailbox. Haven’t heard anything from the neighbors.

I don’t believe many neighbors know what I wear in the yard to sun. Old house had a pool and the only neighbor knew what I wore and he said it was my yard and I could wear whatever I liked! Just curious where you live? Ohio here and tends to be conservative. But I thong/g-string at the beach with no issues, even though it’s legal.

Arizona here. I live in a condo complex. All owned units so no leasing office with a manager. Most of the time I can get away with a thong, and if not I’m in a bikini or squarecuts at the most. So…any neighbors that have seen me at the pool know.

WV here. I usually wear a thong in my hot tub. I’m sure at some point my neighbors have seen me getting into or leaving but nothing has ever been said.

Like I’ve said before, my old neighbor was very accepting of my swimwear. For example, he caught me staining the fence in a g-string, my yard, my choice was his philosophy. Best neighbor I’ve ever had! LOL

All my neighbors have seen m in tiny thongs or even smaller g-strings mowing my grass on riding lawnmower, going to the mailbox, getting trashcans from the street, on my front porch, trimming hedges, edging the lawn at the street, weed eating, etc. If I wear more in the summer they think I am ill.

Since my neighbors on both sides of me have children, I tend to stay covered outside, though I have sunbathed on my back deck in a thong. I don’t think they’re aware of my love of thongs, unless they’ve caught a glimpse of me quickly scurrying past a window.

I have worn a thong on our patio several times earlier this summer. Our neighbor is across the street and not terribly close (ie maybe 175-200 feet away) but considering how nosy she is, it wouldn’t surprise me if she has watched me out there.
Other than several hundred random people at public beaches, and the occasional pool, the only others who know I wear thongs are a few of my wife’s friends and the aesthetician who waxes me every 6 weeks.

Exactly the same here baresss, I mow in mine, bbq, in the pool etc. I am great friends with my neighbors on both sides (typical suburban subdivisionI with a fenced in yard). They all have seen me at one time or another and no comments. My female neighbor once handed me a tool she borrowed over the fence once while I was watering the plants in my thong. She commented later to my wife that I looked great. My behind neighbor whom I do not know typically will see me and then close the blinds if there open LOL.

I live in central Florida. I’m the only one I know here who wears smaller suits, for a male. You would think it would be more prevalent here, being the sunshine state.

That is surprising but I would guess the closer to the water you are, the smaller the suits get-for men or women. I would hope so anyway!

I live in a pretty big apartment complex in LA. Back during the pandemic lockdown, and it became common to throw down a towel and get some sun on either the roof of our parking structure or the outdoor common areas (BBQ patio, common space garden, and next to the dog park). I took advantage of it and tanned in my tiny G-string A LOT. I’d just keep to myself (unless I had a friend over and we were both catching up under the sun) and throw on a towel if I needed to run back to my apartment, but no one has really said anything or complained so far!

I definitely like to sunbathe in my yard. The fences between me and my neighbors are high enough to obscure the view unless they happen to be walking directly past the fence to do some work in their yard. They’ve caught a peek a couple times but haven’t said anything, so I’ll take that as a win.

Sunday morning I went in my hot tub in, not quite a thong but a very cheeky bikini. First time doing so during the daytime. Most the time i go out at night where no one could see. But my neighbors found out real quick on my preference of swim attire. Haven’t said anything to me the few times i have talked to them since. But seems like they don’t really care.

Where I lived previously, some of my neighbors knew. The neighbors on either side could see my hot tub and backyard but never said anything.

I am very good friends with all of my neighbours. We have them over regularly for events or casual visits. They all know I wear thongs. They have certainly seen me enough times. I always sun/swim in them, even if we go to their homes and use their pool. I spent all last weekend in our yard doing spring/summer chores, and wore a string thong the whole time. Even washed the car on Sunday afternoon. They will just come and go into our yard to chat or borrow something, and none of them are surprised at all. They would be shocked if was wearing something more than a thong!

Most likely haha. I don’t care though. No one has ever said anything. I’m in my backyard quite often in the summer in only my thong. Gotta keep up the tan lines somehow.
