This is the best story ever. I’m not sure what is funnier, you catching a couple going at it while walking in your thong and they keep going at it and smile as you walk past OR the fact that they invited you to have a drink with them afterward!

Did you tell your brother about your swimwear purchases? Does he know you wear them? Does he?
I’ve thonged publicly in front of my family for years. My dad wasn’t crazy about it at first, but years later, he made the statement “it’s just a bathing suit.” It felt like a win!

@Ohharley … I didn’t. He wouldn’t be surprised though. He knows me and knows I try and live my life on my own terms. He also wouldn’t care one bit hanging out on the beach with me in a thong … his wife is a different conversation unfortunately.

@Ohharley … I live in the DC area. So I have several options but all are at least a day trip away … I’ve worn thongs everywhere from Cape Cod to Hollywood Beach, FL on the East Coast.

@SilverFoxDad … just a bit too far for a day trip for me. Maybe one day … but a lot of beachs closer where I can wear thongs. Ironically, my wife asked if I wanted to go to Haulover last weekend when we were in south Florida but I passed. We were literally steps off the beach so getting in an uber for 40 minutes one way just to be nude when I was already wearing what I wanted didn’t seem worth the time.

Haulover is also on my bucket list. But like you, when in Fort Lauderdale it just didn’t seem worth the drive when so many beautiful beaches were right outside the door.

Went to a local beach and to a more isolated part. A few groups of people walked by and heard lots of laughing but that’s about it.
One question i have is when people walk by and you’re on your back, do you typically put your legs up or bend your knees to cover up your bulge? A bit self conscious and still figuring this out
I’ve also seen a few people “set up” to sneak pics. Thankfully none have been posted to social media to my knowledge but probably just sent to a friend group. I was thinking of returning the favor and taking a picture of them lol

I don’t do anything to hide my bulge.
Do I feel self conscious at times? Absolutely as this is my first spring/summer wearing a thong in public and I am still building my confidence.
With that said, if someone wants to look at me/it - go right ahead.

It took me a while to not care how everything sits in the suit, however darker or busy patterns help minimize it on days I’m feeling self conscious or at a busy beach.
There is a fine line between hiding it so much it is uncomfortable and it looks like nothing it there, and it appearing too lewd or exhibitionist. Just be happy with what you’ve got and don’t worry about it.

Pretty much only wear thongs whenever there’s water. Our friends and family are all aware and no one seems to care, not enough to make an issue anyways! Last year, my wife and our two kids went to Lake Michigan with our friend and her kid. I was playing in the water with the kids, just letting them jump off my shoulders and whatever else, just having fun. When I started walking back to the beach where the moms were, I noticed a woman had setup pretty close to us. Apparently, while out in the water, this woman was taking pictures. The moms confronted her about it and she moved on her way. Just a cool moment when the “Karen” got shutdown by a couple of middle-aged women.

For years wearing them in the back
Yard pool. One day the Nighbor goes “can I come out side and not see some man’s ass” loudly. I replied stop looking over( when they go up into their storage above garage) and through the cracks fence…..
The best was the wife’s BFF. We all go out of town on a trip. One day was a pool day. I walk out in m31 skinz and the look was priceless. Between could not stop looking, like the confidence and holly sh*t I have act like nothing is out of the ordinary ever.

I heard a few good ones this afternoon.
Went to Hampton Beach, NH which was absolutely packed (wall to wall people). Found a spot near some younger people and near some female thong wearers.
Started out laying face up in my new N2N micro thong which is a lime green color. About 20 minutes later, an entire family including grandma, grandpa, two adult daughters (maybe 35-38) and two grandkids pick a spot 10 feet away from me.
Grandma and grandpa take the two kids down to the water . As I am laying out with my eyes closed, I hear the two adult daughters talking. “Did you see that over there?” “Oh yeah, I saw it as soon as we arrived” “No way is that real, has to be fake” (I’m average but the cut of the suit makes it look big) “I dunno, looks pretty good to me” “I know, I wish I had his confidence and I really like the green” “Yeah, me too. if it was pink I’d have a problem but he looks great in it”
Mind you…I am ten feet away!
Later on a 25ish y/o couple walked by. The boyfriend clearly saw me and snickered a bit to get his girlfriends attention and then whispered something to her. She then replied purposefully loud enough for me to hear “you need to get one of those, I like that look”
