Hi, I’m new to this site that I just found incidentally. I’m Mick from The Netherlands. I have been into minimal swimwear as long as I can remember. This feeling got a boost when I first saw a thong, some 50 years ago. From that time I used these as underwear exclusively until I gradually became a freeballer. As swimwear thongs and especially g-strings are absolute favourites (if I cannot go naked). Wearing them at beaches, swimming pools and spas never presented any problem. Just once I was kicked out of a swimming pool and another time the police saw my bare cheeks when I was sunning in the grass & asked me to turn over only to see the jewels were covered. They then said I was OK. I have had mothers with children coming to sit next to me when I was wearing a very minimal g-string. The same with older teenagers, generally supposed to be a difficult group when it comes to accepting thongs etc.
Honestly, I think wearing thongs and g-strings should be sort of normal, but somewhere deep down I feel it should stay a bit kinky. That’s why I didn’t mind being thrown out of the swimming pool and was sort of proud when checked out by the police.

I get up to the Whites in the summer and would love to have a location to camp like this! And the combo appreciation for intense outdoor activities with totally laid back, barely there (or less) relaxation in the sun is a mutual pleasure. Would love to connect!

Just came across this site and glad I did. My name is Jim, been wearing thongs forever. but am new to going out to public beaches or pools. Glad to see others with similar interests. This has been a (hobby) lol of mine as long as i can remember, glad to hear other men enjoying this, why should woman have all the sexy items to wear lol.

Jim - try visiting East Beach in Charlestown RI. It’s a very long beach with a very small parking lot so there’s never a crowd. Perfect for thonging.

Hello! My name is Mike and I’m from Texas. I have been exclusively wearing thongs and strings as my daily underwear for several years and I just love buying more pairs! Yes, it’s a problem. 
I am married to a woman and she doesn’t pay much mind to my underwear, so it’s no big deal.
Anyhow, I stumbled across this site when I was using Gemini to find out which Texas beaches were thong friendly for men. Although I have only wore a thong at my neighbors pool a couple of times, I would love to take the plunge and wear them to the beach.
I am excited to be joining such an open and tolerant community.

Hello for the purposes of this discussion I’m ThongedGinger, TG for short. I have been wearing thongs off and on since high school and now I’m my late 30s I’m finally going full thong all the time. I have an extensive collection, so if you have a brand question, I probably have tried it.
I was directed here from the SunSplash website. I will go to that party one day. But unfortunately this is that that year.
I am currently working in the gym and on a diet to lose some extra weight and feel better about myself and showing a thong at the beach. I have yet to do that but I want to. I already have a few thongs made for swimwear, and use those to tan in my backyard.
I’m not fully exposing my cheeks yet but I have a plan and will be sticking to it so I can be sun’s out buns out in Southern California soon. Thank you for your time!

Welcome TG. Good luck on your workout. You’ll definitely feel more confident if you see a change in your phasique and overall how you feel. I dropped about 60lbs before I took the plunge and wore a thong in public for the first time, that was 3 years ago. Hit those weights, do some cardio, eat clean (throw in some yoga or stretching now/then) and you’ll get there. Once you wear a thong at the beach you’ll have all kinda euphoria hit you.

Full time thonger from Denmark. I have used thongs and g-strings for about 30 years now, and love every time i can go out in public. In Denmark there is no rules for it, you can be naked on every beach if you want to as well.

Hi everyone. I’m Matt, I’m 47 and from Australia. I’m a thong wearer and beach lover. I’ve been thonging in Australia and overseas for around 20 years now and enjoy swimming, walking and tanning in a thong. I’ve been doing it long enough now that I’m pretty comfortable in my own skin and don’t get nervous, more excited to go thonging, if anything! Great to meet you all!

Well I’m new to this you see I was the chunky monkey through out my entire life! I remember early 90’s when SI and Sport magazine used to have the swimsuit editions and I thought back then I’m going to get one someday! Back then it was mostly females wearing them but I’d see a couple males here and there!
After a medical emergency and a lot of hard work I’ve lost 98 lbs! My goal is 210 lbs. I still have some work to do but I discovered I now can fit into one!
I’m so excited -I purchased my first “classic” thong and I’m awaiting arrival.
I purchased it from Skinz in Clearwater Fl!
I live in Weeki Wachee and frequent honeymoon island and Clearwater beach!
I look forward to wearing it but I still feel a little self conscious!
