I bought a 4 pack of g strings on Amazon by a brand called zonbailon. I do not know if they are still available, but to describe, they are a shimmer material. They also slide from a full front to a teardrop style. I prefer these for beach wear because they look great, wear well and dry fast. Recently I did a slight alteration to one of them. I snipped the back string off completely to make a pouch style. The pouch elastic is strong enough to stay in place and it’s easy to slip off if you are in a place wear you can go nude.
May have already been said but Skinz M77 are great for tan lines.
Interesting responses from everyone. I think the question needs to be more specific. There are so many variations, it depends if you want the smallest tan line or a significant area covered from the sun.
I am not looking for the smallest tan line. I do like a nice defined triangle just above the separation of the cheeks and a small tan line around the waist. As a result I make it a point to wear a similar design every time I am out on a beach or at a pool. I tend to like the cut for the N2N thongs with their rear triangle and more generous room up front. I have a nice defined tan line going now that I enjoy.
If the situation calls for a more conservative look I will pull on a Orocojuco 1/3 rear cut thong. In more sexy environments I will pull on a more minimalist style closer to a G-string with tie sides for extra fun.
Smaller is better, IMO. My favorites for backyard sunning are Muscleskinz Classics with 1/2 sides and smallest front I can squeeze into. In public I have more conservative favorites in my waaaaay too extensive thong collection.
Same for me. Straps that are 1/4" to 1/2", small triangle back. Front flat modest pouch with minimal coverage without accentuating.
If you’re going for a minimal tan line with narrow sides, I have found that the JAXFSTK posing thong with narrow pouch gives a great (minimal) tan line with a small triangle in the back. I wear these as my daily underwear and sunbathe in them at home as well. They’re very comfortable and relatively cheap. They can easily double as an unlined swim thong as well. Also, anything with more coverage I wear to the public beaches covers the lines and I don’t have to worry about tan lines showing from different swim thongs.
