Arizona, United States

Hey, guys. Shout out here from the valley.

There’s a great pool at the Arizona Grand Resort that’s adults only. My friend is down there almost daily. It’s a great place to enjoy our AZ sun.

Typically you’ll see hotel guests there, but they do offer a membership.

@GuestGuest have you found any other places in Arizona that welcome thong swimwear?

From what I gather, Arizona gets a good amount of sunshine. Hopefully there are plenty of opportunities to wear thongs.

Everyone here pretty much has a private pool, so thonging in the wild, especially if you’re a dude, is a rare sight to see. This pool is accepting. There are gay men’s clubs with pools around, but, as a heterosexual, those do not interest me.

It would be a great opportunity to go to the Arizona Grand Resort and thong freely. If I were to make the trip from Pennsylvania, I would definitely want to stay for at least two weeks. This would cost a small fortune. I wonder if long-term pricing is available. I will need to research.

I go to the lakes in Arizona very frequently and on occasion have seen females as well as men in thong swimwear. More females than men though. I have worn a thong bikini several times at the lake. Wish it was more normal to see.

What lakes? Pleasant? Canyon? Roosevelt? I’ve never seen a male at a lake. I’ve thonged at Havasu before.

I saw 2 guys walking together at Havasu. There was a group of men in speedos and thongs on a pontoon boat at Bartlett lake and a guy paddle boarding in a thong at Canyon.

Have you thonged the Salt River? I’m assuming you’re trans, so people probably think you’re a cis female wearing a skimpy bikini, which is totally socially acceptable. Males have a stigma with thonging publicly unless it’s in a group or they’re in phenomenal physical condition or something.

I’ve never worn a thong on the Salt River. But that’s cause, unfortunately, I’ve never been down the Salt River kayaking or paddle boarding. Never had anyone to go with. Yes, I’m trans, so I agree with you. And you’re right, it’s definitely less acceptable unless you’re with a group. I think it’s silly people are that way. Specially when lots of other men would wear them if they were more accepting and then it wouldn’t be an issue at all.

Yeah, the double standard is real for dudes.

It really is too bad there isn’t a thong or skimpy friendly pool or resort area here where people can just hang out and relax and meet. Open to men, women, and trans. I just need to win the lottery I guess, lol.

I frequent Lake Pleasant almost weekly during the week and wear a thong all the time. Never had any issues. Sometimes I’ll hear some laughs, but it doesn’t bother me. For the most part, people are enjoying the lake and minding their own business. I’m trying to enjoy these last warm days as much as possible.

Go to The Vista at AZ Grand.

Went to the lake last weekend and the weather was perfect for wearing a thong bikini. I wore one all 3 days I was there. So fun paddle boarding around enjoying the sunshine and water and getting a few looks.

Unfortunately now i think it’s a little too cool for thongs outdoors. Well unless there is a hot tub.

What lake did you go to? Next week might have a few days of 80 degrees. I might go out one of those days.

I went to Bartlett Lake. I really enjoy it there. My favorite, easy go to. You can park along the water on the beach or find little spots with shade away from on lookers.

Fun! If you do go and want some company, let me know and I’ll join ya if my schedule allows. Always looking for other lake buddies.

That’s a ways out there. I wish I knew of a heated pool.

Bartlett is about an hour and a half away from me. I have it on my places to check out, but haven’t committed to the drive. I’ll probably go to Pleasant on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Aren’t the lakes too cold?

The water is probably a little cold, but tolerable if you’re hot. The sunshine will feel good.
