I want to spend a day at Hippie Hollow. I’ve never been. Are there shaded areas where i can take a brea from the sun? How thong friendly is Barton Spring?
Did you make it out to Barton Springs? I’ve always been curious about spending a day there.
I love Hippie Hollow — it’s such a chill spot. We try to make it out there a couple of times each summer. There’s plenty of shade further up on the rocks if you want to get out of the sun, and I’d definitely recommend bringing a yoga mat — those rocks can get pretty hard and uncomfortable when you’re sunning.

Barton Springs is very thong friendly. I wear my thong swimsuits there everytime I can!

My schedule changed, I may not go for a couple of weeks dependent on weather.
Awesome! Next Hippie Hollow trip with the wife, we’ll have to check it out.
I’ve had to work so much this summer that we only made it to the beach once — definitely not our norm. I feel your pain.
