I Bought My First
I’m so stoked you see this is in celebration of loosing 122lbs!
Today my wife and I entered Skinz in Clearwater! I found several styles and purchased a navy blue M67 and a floral A44 coverup!
It’s on now! I cannot wait to go to the beach and enjoy the feeling of the sun on my skin!
If you haven’t followed my story I’m a former 340lb lard ass that decided to make a change! Now I’m down to 218. I still don’t look perfect, however; after all this I’m still stoked!

Thanks so much! Growing up in coastal Florida Thongs were always something I wanted to try! I cannot believe today I was trying on size large!

Do pouches help with your walnuts? I did have a hard time fitting those inside lol!

I understand your dilemma. That is the one thing I have difficulty with when buying a thong from Skinz. The pouch is too small. They make a great quality product. I have many that are still like new. But, once I found thongs with enhanced pouches I found my comfort with them. There are many companies that now make enhanced pouches. I suggest you do a quick search and you will find many options, from Amazon to Etsy to eBay to companies like N2N, BuffedBod, Awry and many others. Enjoy the search.

I will agree skinz pouches run small. But they are happy to do a custom with a bigger pouch.

Congrats on the fitness journey and getting out there wearing that thong. I never used the scale but I lost about 50lbs over the last few years. I’m not perfect either but shrinking the gut gave me the confidence to finally wear a thong at a public beach. It’s such a high and great experience. My recommendation for a good pouch is Bang Clothes/DC2 Miami. IMO the best quality thong I have ever owned. They fit perfect and run true to size.

Yes I do want the Bang one love the fabric but I wasn’t sure of the fit. I wanted to go somewhere I could try a couple on.

Good for you! You will feel better and enjoy a much better quality of life in every way. I managed an almost identical weight loss about sixteen years ago not just to be healthier but I wanted to again wear a thong wherever I wanted. And thongs have been a motivator to keep the weight off. Only advice - go as skimpy as allowed by law and enjoy as often as possible!
