I love Joe Snyder. They were one of the first thongs I bought when I first started wearing them at the beach.

I recently visited the store in Clearwater to check out the thongs and g-strings. I was interested in the M55 and M77 styles. I liked both styles, but the pouch on the M55 g-string was a bit small on me. Too much was revealed on the sides. I wouldn’t mind wearing such a suit in public, but I don’t have any places near me where I could have worn it without issues. It’s a suit I could probably only wear at South Beach. It didn’t make sense to buy a suit I would hardly get to wear outside. Now for the M77 thong, it was almost perfect. I liked it better than the M55 because the pouch covered more and the side and center straps on this thong would be more acceptable at the venues I frequently visit. The only issue I had is the pouch covered a bit more than I was used to with my Cocksox CX22 swim thongs. I like my thongs to perfectly cradle everything with just enough coverage, hold everything away from my body, but not with any torpedo, projectile effect. I love the pouch on my Cocksox CX22 swim thongs but don’t like the “whale tail” back. I wish it was more of a small triangle like on the Skinzwear M77 thongs.
After trying on several different suit styles with different fabrics, I decided to give Skinzwear a try by ordering a custom suit. The seamstress, and others, really worked with me after I modeled my Cocksox CX22 suit in the store. I showed them what I like and don’t like in suit. I even offered to let them use my Cocksox suit as a pattern but they didn’t need it. The Skinzwear suit is a custom M77 thong with the standard side straps and center straps, but with a custom pouch modeled after the Cocksox CX22 swim thong. I asked her to make the pouch similar, but with a slightly less “projection” that Cocksox is famous for. The suit arrived yesterday and it fits perfectly. Now that I have my custom M77 pattern on file, I can order the same suit in other fabrics as I continue my collection.
I did have to pay a pattern fee for the custom suit and the suit itself is more expensive than the Cocksox suits. However, I splurged on this suit because I was in the area and felt I had to take advantage of being able to discuss a perfect suit, in person, with the actual seamstress who was going to make the suit. I felt I would have wasted more money buying other suits online, not liking them, and not being able to return them.
I suit arrived yesterday and it fits perfectly. I can’t wait to wear it this summer. I think as my Cocksox CX22 swim thongs wear out, I will consider ordering more custom M77’s from Skinzwear. An added bonus is I can order the suits in several different fabrics, including the Solids, Mesh, Thin Skinz, and Super Thin Skinz fabrics. I would have no issues wearing these more revealing fabrics to a pool or the beach where they would be acceptable. I just need to be realistic and only order what I can legally wear most of the time because of where I live. If only I could move to or visit South Florida every month so I can wear these suits year-round.

I don’t think any of the Cocksox suits nor the Skinz “stuff-it” style suits are a good call in New England. I go for the M67 because it’s the least “in your face” suit I’ve found that’s otherwise still quite small.
