Dude in mid-30s here, and I have a goal this season to try wearing a thong to the beach (go outside my comfort zone), but I’m a total rookie.
My main priority is a pouch with great lift as I find I’m much more comfortable when everything is pushed forward and away from my legs to avoid skin-to-skin rubbing and chafing. I’ve seen many that meet this need have a pronounced pouch, which I’m fine with as it provides the separation I’m looking for… and wearing a thong anyway, right?
Does anyone have any good brand suggestions that focus on that kind of separation and support?
Thanks for the suggestions @Bonzo69 and @Golfnthongs. I will give both Cocksox and Grand Axis a look. Cocksox in particular might seem to match what I find feels most comfortable.
Oh man, now I got a lot to choose from. Tropical Thongs look pretty good too. These all do. Don’t want to break the bank buying from all sellers, so I’ll have to be selective. All great suggestions though.
Joe Snyder makes amazing suits as well but I think they are phasing them out but you can still get them. I believe Justin + Simon is taking over. I have not tried one of those yet but the cut is very similar to Joe Snyder.
So many good options. Thanks for all for your suggestions. I think I will just have to go with one of them to start. I don’t know what I am getting into yet and plan to just go for it.
I have at least 30 Cocksox CX02 swim briefs, CX22 swim thongs, and CX08 swim trunks. I wear the briefs and thongs daily as underwear and they are my swimwear of choice at pools, resorts, and beaches. You won’t be disappointed.
I tried the CX01 underwear but they stretch out much quicker than the CX02 swimwear. They don’t stay snug after wearing them a few months.
I wear the CX08 swim trunks at venues where I know thongs are not permitted or at venues that have asked me to change when I wear the briefs.
I love having 3 different coverage suits to cover all the bases.
From personal experience, I will tell you this - You will definitely be noticed no matter where you choose to wear Cocksox swimwear.
It’s funny, because I’ve noticed that the more comfortable briefs/thongs are, the more they tends to push everything out and away from the body. Potential downside is it creates a much more noticeable bulge, which could shatter my confidence, but to me, it feels a million times better. It a trade-off- if I go for modesty, I usually end up sacrificing comfort.
But by default thongs are not modest, so I don’t think showing a slightly bigger bulge isn’t going to change much. Probably just better to go for comfort. I’m going to order Cocksox.
For sure, @Bonzo69. I think the important thing might be to not overthink things and get out to the beach. I can’t keep operation man thong in my head. Got to put it to action.
Sorry, I was wrong about Joe Snyder. I was on a site that sells Joe Snyder and they have a 30% off sale as they are switching to their own brand (Justin + Simon), These look very similar to Joe Snyder and I just ordered a couple to arrive next week. I will give a review once I try them out. Joe Snyder is alive and well through their own site and others which is great since they are one of my fav brands.
