I searched the locations category and didn’t find any details about resorts in the Dominican Republic. Aside from google searching adults only thong friendly all inclusive resorts, I was hoping someone had recommendations

I stayed at the Club Med Dominican Republic and thonged the whole time I was there. I had no issues.

Just go for it, if anyone asks you to cover up then do what you feel is right.
The thong part isn’t the question, it’s more about the resort, vicinity from airport, amenities, quality of food, rooms, customer service, other visitors. Some of this information from Expedia or google search helps but personal experience would be nice. Even Reddit lacked good information.
he Dominican Republic has some of the best beaches in the Caribbean!! Everyone talks about Punta Cana and yeah, the beaches are beautiful, but it’s super touristy. We opted for the Samaná area, specifically Las Galeras and Las Terrenas - honestly, the vibe there is super relaxed and there are so many beaches you can wear whatever you want… I wore my usual speedos and my wife wore her traditional micro g-strings and even sheer ones, no problems. Special shoutout to Playa Ermitaño, Playa Bonita and Las Galeras. The best is renting an Airbnb and a car to find those isolated paradise spots

I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing airbnb there. Not until I first experience going, learn to speak Spanish which I’m in the process. I’ll do an all inclusive resort and will decide between party atmosphere and quiet.
