Just spent two nights at Hollywood Beach.
Loved walking and riding a bike down the boardwalk! Great people watching.
Based on what I previously read, the crowd was a bit older than I expected. For whatever reason, I didn’t feel like hanging at the beach so I elected to spend my two days - pool side.
On the first day, I decided to lay out at the pool at my hotel (Marriott). Even though the pool was on the smaller side and a bit crowded, I found a good spot, stepped out of my shorts and laid out in an N2N micro thong. After flipping a few times, I decided to go in for a swim.
All in all a good experience, but due to the size of the pool, how crowded it was and how conservative everyone appeared to be, you really need to put any self-doubt away and be extremely confident to wear a thong here. I didn’t see anyone else in a thong but did see one woman in a scrunch butt bikini.
On the second day, I decided to check out the pools at the Margaritaville Hotel which was 10 minutes down the board walk. I paid the fee and headed for the first pool. Maybe it was me or perhaps the sun was making me feel off, but after an hour or so, I decided I wanted a change of scenery and a chair closer to the pool.
So I went to the second pool and found a shadier spot right near the pool steps. After re-setting up here, I stepped out of my shorts and decided it was time to cool off and I went for a dip in another N2N micro thong.
After a few minutes, I got out and laid out on my chaise lounge and the super friendly wait staff asked me if I wanted anything from the restaurant. After eating my Cheeseburger in Paradise,followed by an ice cold beer, I went back in the pool for another dip.
I did see 4-5 women in thongs at Margaritaville but I of course was the only guy.
