I want to thank everyone on this post and this forum in general for all the posts especially about building confidence. I went to the busiest beach I’ve been to in a thong. Heaps of people and families and part of the beach is a local walk. So a lot of people saw me in a thong. I picked a beach that had a lot of women in thongs so if anyone confronted me I could say they are doing it. I was the only man in a thong but a couple of men were wearing speedos. I got changed in the changing room and walked to a quiet spot in a thong. I had families set up between me and the water so I walked past them to have a swim. And then I went back to the changing rooms and used the outdoor shower to wash off the sand. I don’t think I had too many sideways glances and certainly no comments. A great day all round. I would probably have never done that without this forum. I hope to continue and not worry if I’m in a busier part of the beach next trip.
It’s taken a while to get more confident wearing them in public. It’s taken a while.
I have really only embraced them in the last 2 years, l have always worn speedos.
I like Coxsox, but have found them very revealing in the front and only suitable in private.
I love all my Cocksox suits. They fit like a glove and never need adjusted. I have the trunks, briefs, and thongs. I wear them exclusively at all venues. I will wear the thongs where thongs are permitted. If thongs are not permitted, I will wear the briefs. If a manager or lifeguard says the briefs are inappropriate, I will then wear the trunks. I have several sets in the same color. It is nice to decide on a color for the day and choose the amount of coverage required at each venue.
I am very comfortable and confident wearing a thong to the beach. It is my primary swimwear choice. When I go to the beach I usually have a few different thongs in my bag. I do not have a bikini style suit or any other style in my bag. The only time I might have something other than a thong is if I am going to a new beach where I do not know the vibe. Rarely have I felt the need to wear anything other than my swim thong.
I can’t say I am 100% confident when I am wearing a thong on the beach. I am always mindful of my surroundings, and I still get butterflies in my stomach before I strip down to my thong swimsuit. To ease my nerves, I try to set up next to another woman wearing a thong, and I have my eyes glued to my phone.
That being said, I enjoy being in a crowd and want to be around people. I suppose part of me wants others to notice me and my thong swimsuit and see that I stand out from other guys. So, even though it can be nerve-wracking, I still get up, walk along the beach and take a dip in just a thong.
I’m usually pretty confident in a thong, but it can change depending on the crowd and my mood. I bring a cover-up just in case, mostly for walking around, but once I’m on the beach or in the water I’m comfortable.
For me, it depends on the crowd. I’m confident if I can get there early and set up with some space of our own. Just the wife and myself. I’m not 100% comfortable going all out (without a little liquid courage) but I think that adds to the excitement of wearing them.
For me, confidence comes with time. It just feels completely natural to me to wear minimal swimwear when tanning. I used to be conscious of my surroundings and was concerned if anyone would be offended. I realized recently that nothing bothers me anymore. I could car less what others may think. We are always judged wherever we go regardless of what we are wearing like it or not whether in a minimal g string or full length board shorts. I wear thongs because I find them super comfortable and they just feel natural and right. When you feel good about what you are wearing, you are always confident.
This is very similar to how I feel.
I definitely try to set up near women in thongs and I also prefer to be around others versus being exiled to a remote section of a beach with no one around.
And yes, I do enjoy a bit of attention that I garner when wearing a thong and often will get up and go for a walk or a swim.
