Last summer I was on holiday in Mauritius, I was in a great hurry to go to the hotel pool and the beach in a thong, the looks of the other tourists were rather mocking, I even heard a Mauritian calling me a faggot, well it’s true that I don’t care what people think but it hurt my wife more than me. Anyway, all that to say that if you go to Mauritius, be careful, homophobia has been punishable by law for only 2 or 3 years, so if you are called a faggot, you can complain, I didn’t know that at the time. Otherwise no one asked me to change, so it’s not forbidden.
