My wife and I have recently discovered the excitement and overall sensation of wearing thongs in public. It would be great if those in the Tampa Bay Area and those visiting the area could coordinate a “Thong Day” at Ft DeSoto where we could all get together and have a little solidarity at the beach.
I realize we all have busy schedules, but how nice would it be to meet with other folks who are like minded about at least one thing: their swimsuit choice.
We can call it “A Throng of Thongs”.

Great idea! I live in NC but I have been to the Fort and TPA area many times. The first time I wore a thong and laid out on the beach was at DeSoto. I don’t see my other half and I making it to TPA again until next spring.
If I still lived in Zephyrhills (just northeast of Tampa), I would join you in a heartbeat. I used to live there over 40 years ago. I wish I would have bought a place to for the occasional visit from Pennsylvania. For now, I need to live vicariously through all the folks in Florida who get to wear thongs and g-strings on the beach on a daily basis. I was recently in Clearwater and Daytona Beach in early March. The trip was a bust because it was so cold. However, I was still able to wear my tiniest the-bikini.com tear drop g-strings the entire week. I hope to make it back in 2027. I think I will try South Beach and Fort Lauderdale. I have heard so many positive stories about wearing thongs in public in South Florida.
I’d be interested as well for a weekend meet up. Perhaps in September when most of the rainy season is gone and the group can have time to plan for it. Plus the pathway from the parking area to the thong area won’t be like sludge and full of mosquitos.
