This used to be a sleepy beach town, but it’s been discovered and is now known as “Arizona’s Beach” as it’s a 3-1/2 hour drive from Phoenix. I’ve thonged there a handful of times, and I was the only male in the midst of a handful of females. Most beach goers are retirees, but the beach is tolerable. I’ve never had a problem. I’ve thonged at 2 different beaches there: Sandy Beach and Las Conchas. I prefer going off the beaten path, because at the main beaches you will encounter beach vendors and they get annoying.
Just got back today from RP! I thonged in front of the Sonoran Spa resort on Sandy Beach. I etched in some strong tan lines. I saw about 10 ladies wearing thongs or very cheeky swimwear. Again, I was the only male. Anyway, I may wait for the weather to warm up again. The wind/breeze was kinda chilly, but the water was the same temp as outside, which was lower 70s. All in all, it was a great time.
