Hey guys, I’m headed to San Diego this September for a concert this coming September. It should still be warm there that time of year I would think? Does anyone know of some good places to go thonging in San Diego?

Blacks Beach, take good hiking boots/shoes.

I suggest Coronado Beach. It has big open sand with lots of room to spread out. It’s easy to get to form downtown San Diego. The last time I was there the vibe was pretty chill.

I’d avoid Blacks Beach unless you’re down for the hike. The sand quality isn’t always great there either. Since it is nude, there isnt much of a point to thonging when you can go naked. It is fun if you are down for the trek though. La Jolla in general is good.
My recommendation if you just want to tan, Coronado is great, also Mission Beach.
The best is Sunset Cliffs though. Absolutely sublime for swimming, tanning, hopping rocks and just vibing. They do require a little bit of hiking, but nothing like Blacks Beach. Also one of the few places I have seen other male thongers at.

I would say blacks is a great suggestion. There’s more to it than just the nude part because the whole section is actually pretty big. That way you can wear your thong no matter where you are including the clothing optional area. Good tip though is don’t set up near the bluff. Keep yourself at least 15 ft or so away as a constantly has various eroding chunks falling off and you certainly don’t want to get hit. Weather will be perfect water will still be very warm at least 70° and if you get to the North End you’ll see all the paragliders coming off glider port. That’s also a spot to enter from but be sure to avoid a super high tide as you won’t be able to access the nude area

Note that the south end of Blacks Beach is clothing required. That’s where I thong it and obviously never had an issue since it’s right next to the clothing optional section.
I will keep all of these things in mind 
Having visited the west coast several times my thought would be that every beach in California is thong friendly. Are there conservative places where it would be frowned upon?
Orange County generally leans more conservative than the rest of coastal CA. But then again, I hear thongs can be found on Newport Beach.
Laguna Beach I believe outlaws exposing your butt, which would presumably include thongs. But I don’t know how strictly that gets enforced.
