Agree, they seem about as small as can be without being totally in your face, and the 1/2" side seam makes them feel even smaller. Once you’ve got it on properly, the tight fit is your friend and it stays put. They do seem to stretch a little bit after you’ve swum in them a few times. It’s my preferred suit, but only on beaches I’ve tested a few times with somewhat larger suits. (“CambridgeGuy’s rule” and all that.)
LOL, when I got my first Skinz they sent me an M77 by mistake, which is definitely over the line for me, I don’t see where I would ever wear that one. And it’s not even their smallest suit, by a mile.
I showed my wife and she was like “Wow” as she raised her eyebrows. By now she is used to me in a thong but I think the skimpy factor even surprised her.
The only bummer is my tan lines that I have been working on since February are now all showing - will need to make this the default suit going forward.
M77 is my go to at any beach and my wife’s favorite. I will say that all of my suits, regardless of manufacturer, stretch out after repeated use. Google told me this is the result of sunscreen degrading the elastic and material. If I’m between sizes with a manufacturer I’ll size down as I know the material will “relax.”
I’d love to be able to wear a super skimpy suit like the M77 and would definitely buy one if I lived in Florida or the Islands but for the vast majority of the beaches up here (except perhaps the very liberal Provincetown and Fire Island) I’m afraid of getting run out of town by Karen’s, or even worse, being confronted by the authorities.
Yep, what he said. M67 seems doable in New England, but I’m worried that much smaller than that might attract unwanted attention and spoil things for others. Not worth the risk; one step at a time.
The M67 is the perfect suit in my opinion both front and back. This is by far my fav style and I’m happy to see the black always on sale again. I also wear the M77 which has a much smaller pouch and also great for tanning. I felt very naked the first time I wore it but quickly got used to it. Skinz suits do stretch out over time and it could be from the sunblock, etc. I am being careful with any new suits to thorughly after each use with vinegar diluted in cold water. So far so good.
I wore a Joe Snyder Bulge for a week on Cape Cod with zero issues a couple years ago. I can’t remember the name of the beach near Provincetown but there was what appeared to be a gay friendly area and some of the suits I saw there blew my mind.
I’ve also thonged up and down Long Island around Jones Beach.
I haven’t heard of the vinegar thing but I’ll try it. I’m religious about rinsing my suits after the beach/pool.
I wore my new, black Skinz M67 to an outdoor hotel pool today. It is very skimpy but I said who cares and proudly soaked up the sun for about an hour and a half.
When I first saw it, I was really concerned that it may be way too revealing/too small but in hindsight, it really gives me an incredible boost of confidence and I enjoy showing off in it!
Albany, NY. It was a full service hotel with separate indoor and an outdoor pools. Nothing special looks/location wise as it is situated in an office business park - but it was about 80 degrees when I arrived at 2pm so I said go for it.

Certainly in this small forum, there seems to be a lot of love for those two models with a pretty even split between them: “M67 is a bit too big” vs “M77 is a bit too small”
M55 is still my first favorite. But I end up wearing the M77 the most as I can get away with it at my condo complex pool. The M55 and M1R2 are just a bit too skimpy for that setting.
