Summer 2024 (Northern Hemisphere)

Summer isn’t officially over in the Northern Hemisphere, but it’s already starting to feel like fall in the Pacific Northwest.

My summer began with a business trip to the San Francisco Bay Area. I didn’t stay long and most of my time was spent in meetings, but I did manage to relax in the hot tub at my hotel one evening. I wore a swim thong. The pool and hot tub were empty when I arrived. The only other person there was sitting on the pool deck, working on their laptop. A young couple and a lap swimmer came to use the pool while I was soaking. Unfortunately, it was nearing closing time. I stayed until the staff started putting things away, then retired to my room.

The weather at home was generally pleasant this summer. Thankfully, there was not much in the way of smoke from wildfires like there’s been the past few years. I don’t live near the ocean, but there are some nice public parks along the lake, one of which is walking distance from my house. I spent a few afternoons sunning by the lake in a thong. It was not uncommon to see other people in thongs and g-strings.

I capped off the summer break with a vacation in the California Wine Country. The weather was pleasantly warm, and I enjoyed swimming, soaking, and sunbathing in a thong at the hotel. It was the perfect ending to the season.

Where did you wear thong swimwear this summer? :sun_with_face:

I live in the southern hemisphere, but was in Europe this summer. Wore thongs all the time - pools, cruise ships, and beaches in Italy, Sweden, and Denmark.

Sounds like you had a busy summer, @aquamantriton. It’s great to hear that you felt comfortable wearing thongs on your trip.

Fall started today. We had nice weather Labor Day weekend, but it wasn’t warm enough to wear a swimsuit. The rest of September was cool and more like fall than summer.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer with plenty of opportunities to wear thongs and g-strings outside and that our friends in the southern hemisphere, like @aquamantriton, will represent while we endure fall and winter.
