How are the Charlie thongs? I’ve been eyeing them. They look amazing but the price is high. I’d like to know the quality before pulling the trigger on Charlie

I like them. They’re very comfortable and are of good quality. I will admit, however, that I don’t think they’re worth the price. I find there are other brands just as comfortable, although not as good quality, which are a better value overall. If you must, wait for Charlie’s sales. They usually cut off 15-25%.

Tropical Thongs is another brand. I own three suits from them. No complaints so far. My apologies if it’s on the list and I just missed it.

Love the Petit-Q brand for swim thongs. They’re very comfortable and have some great designs/colors.

Koalaswim has unusual swimwear designs for men, I have worn some at the Beach and thrown away others.

Tangaland from Germany has micro bikinis and thong swimwear for men and women. Many are modeled at a beach.

I have to say that the quality of my go-to thongs is now via Temu. Exceptionally well made and the pouches are a bit bigger so fits the western physique. I’ve just bought 17 thongs for £25. Every one fits well and will wash well.

Wow! I’m not sure how I never looked at this thread before, but it’s fantastic. What an amazing resource! There are many brands here of which I was completely oblivious. Now I’m enjoying exploring each of the sites and making a mental wish list. Thanks for compiling this, Sam, and thanks to everyone who helped contribute to it.

It seems that the Aquadress website has disappeared without a trace. The men’s suits were tiny but the prices were very high. I never bought any, I wear tiny Mategear suits instead.

Thanks for including us in this list! While we don’t really advertise swimwear (yet) it is something we have and will continue to custom make upon request.

Our swimsuit design is based off of our “robust cut” version that features a 3/4ths inch elastic waist band (can also choose a 1 inch waistband), and an athletic mesh lined pouch.

NeonShowgirl on Etsy is one of my favorite brands for swim thongs. Her fabric prints are always changing, but I’ve bought 30 of hers or so. Rakinis also has a men’s thong and g-string which I like to support as that’s a female owned and catered to company that is a big ally and supporter of male thong acceptance among women.
