I live in Florida. You can wear a thong anywhere and everywhere—from hotel pools to streams or the ocean. Most of the time I’m the only person in a thong, and no one seems to care. Other times, there are several other dudes in thongs with me. Come visit!

From what I have read, thongs are okay everywhere except the state parks.
In 2021, I wore a the-bikini.com tear drop g-string for two weeks straight on the beaches in Volusia County (Daytona Beach). Best tan ever. I can’t wait to go back.

I live in Florida too and am often the only guy in a thong. I don’t care. I haven’t received any negative comments, just a few positive ones. As @Christian said, you have to be confident and just go for it.

I think Puerto Vallarta and in specific mantamar is what you are looking for. We venture into this area (hang out next door to it) as the wife feels comfortable. I like this area because I know I won’t be the only one in a thong.

Galveston is pretty thong tolerant, Not a ton of male thongs, but I when I go I pack a few days worth of swim thongs that I want to wear, sandals, a few towels, a pair of sunglasses, sunblock an my wallet and drive there in a thong with shorts as a coverup, and that’s all I bring on purpose. Ive never had an issue just walking around thonged. If you try you can technically just wear a thong the whole time and not even bring a coverup as that seems to be what some girls do.

Which part of the beach do you like the best? We go there every summer but the section we’re in has very few thongs.
Clock tower. I go to my car in a thong from hotel and park by the first free area and then walk down to clock tower beach area along the beach. Not tons of thongs but it’s common enough that it isn’t a super big deal for people to see me in one.

Hey, Buddy I’m btw DC and Baltimore but love to come to PGH. Never worn a thong there but would love the company next warmer weather visit. I really like Pittsburgh!
My idea of thong utopia would be Olympic pool size lap swimming where everyone is allowed to wear them. In the summer, it would be outdoor Olympic pool so getting a tan while exercising.
I live in Canada, and my favorite beach is Woodbine Beach in Toronto. The funny thing is, Toronto is not a coastal city, yet there is a neighborhood called The Beaches. This area consists of several beaches along Lake Ontario, and Woodbine is the busiest. The beaches get less crowded as you move further east, so you can choose the one depending on your crowd preference.
In general, Canada is very thong-friendly, and I have never had any issues thonging on the beach. I’d say May and June are the best months to thong on the beach. The weather is warm enough to be out in a thong, but the beaches are not busy yet since kids are still in school.

My thong Utopia is my house with my backyard pool. I have pool parties where I encourage my guests to wear whatever they want. Push boundaries. Have maximum exposure. People are already asking me when my first party will be…

I love experiences where a thing is all a person wears for extended periods. It’s great to get that used to being utterly bare that walking around getting sun in all those normally hard to reach areas. All the while getting a nice white tan line to remind anyone that’s sees of how naked you were.
Es Trenc on Mallorca was a stand out to me. It’s clothing optional but unique in that the nude sunbathers are mixed in with everyone else and not really segregated, which has the effect that a guy in a thong doesn’t really get any extra attention. No where else have I been as comfortable in a thong walking through a packed beach.
St. Martin is also pretty good, I like Bay Long, Bay Rough, and Happy Bay. Orient beach is the famous one with the nude beach at the south and all the beach bars, its a great place to thong too, but for me it’s been kind of hit or miss. I’ve had times at orient where I wore them the entire time without getting any rude stares, but also times where nudists got angry for us not being nude and textiles stared enough that I changed into a brief. Unfortunately I think St. Martin is getting “discovered” by the masses increasingly. We still go almost every year since it’s easy to get to and affordable.

1st pool party of the year was kicked off yesterday! Everybody in thongs. My lesbian sister in law went topless. We all got tanned and drunk lol. Pool was at 77°

Living in Florida and being able to wear a thong to the beaches or pools 10 months out of the year is a utopia for me. But I completely understand what you’re talking about. It is always nice to see another male sporting a thong as well. I think the closest thing to that utopia would be at one of the thong weekends that they have in Palm Springs and in Fort Lauderdale. From what friends on the board have told me there are at least 20 to 30 guys all walking their thongs by the pool and the beach. Have not had an opportunity to go yet, but definitely is on the bucket list.
