I swim laps in my thong 3 times a week at my gym without issue. I’m very glad to have the opportunity to do that, I too live in the Pacific Northwest and it will be a while before we have great weather again, so lap swimming will have to do.
I live in Montreal, Canada, and we just had 10cm of snow. I’d say outdoor thonging season starts in May.
But, I still wear my swim thongs at spas and at the local pool.
I just use the winter season as my prep season. Right now, I am trying to lose weight and make my summer body.
It has been a very long, extremely cold winter in the northeast and I can’t wait until spring.
With that said, I have worn a thong on several occasions this winter in hot tubs. These are normally hotel or condo hot tubs and I typically go later at night. In one instance, I checked into a hotel and asked the front desk clerk if it was okay to wear a thong and after a brief pause she said it was fine as long as there weren’t kids in the pool.
I also spent some time in Miami for work and vacation. The weather was great and I did have an opportunity to wear a thong on two days but I had to stay out of the sun because I am in the process of getting some areas on my body treated with a laser for hair removal and you can’t do that if you have a tan.
I’m heading back to Florida in late May and hope to spend some more time in a thong.
Forecast here has us over 100 tomorrow and all the way up to 106 Friday and Saturday. Thong season has fully arrived here in Phoenix.
I looked at the forecast for the western US and cried a little as I am stuck indoors. It is cold, windy and snowing. This is why I go to the Caribbean every winter to get some sun, warmth and the chance to wear my thong on a beach.
During the winter months in Portland Oregon I like to thong at indoor hot springs. Every place I’ve asked said swim thongs are totally fine for both men and women. I’ve always been the only guy in a thong but always see plenty of women wearing them.
Almost 90 degrees in parts of the Midwest today. I was off work so I took full advantage and laid outside in a thong for most of the afternoon. Getting an early start on the tan lines.
This is very rare for this part of the country in March. I won’t complain though. Hoping to do it again tomorrow.
Winter and wearing just a thong outside, do not really match ![]()
So, during Winter I just wait (at the end with a bit less patience for the first nice days in Spring.
This year we were lucky, today already the second time I could get some sun rays in the backyard while just wearing a thong.
That means: the good season is coming again ![]()
Winter in Canada is long. It is April and still jacket weather, so I see why so many snowbirds move to Florida. I would like to relocate permanently, but I still have one year of school left. As a student, I can’t afford to take trips down south.
For those of you up north, how do you tolerate winter?
