Thongs vs. G-Strings

I am not sure what waterfront parks you attend, but the one closest to me does not permit thongs. Believe me, I wish they did. In fact, they have employees that stand outside the restrooms that act as fashion police to tell people their swimsuits are inappropriate.

Now for the three county wave pools in Pittsburgh, it is a different story. There are no rules whatsoever, because they are not in the city limits and are run by the county. I have successfully worn thongs and even tiny tear drop g-strings with zero issues. For the two pools monitored by county police, they just politely wave and say hi as they make their rounds.

Here in AZ, females get a pass everywhere regardless of posted rules. Males would be told to change.

I almost always wear g-strings. I’ll only wear a thong with family or swimming laps. I started with only thongs, but progressively got skimpier over the years. I find them much more comfortable and easier maximize the tan.

I’ve always preferred a thong, because, when bent over, I don’t want anything exposed. A g-string really doesn’t provide that coverage. I also prefer the feeling of an actual strap between the cheeks.

I prefer wearing thongs for swimming and for sitting in a hot tub with the jets on. I also find that thongs are more flattering to my body than g-strings.

Thongs definitely have the edge for me. After a while, it feels like you are wearing nothing. They are especially great if you want to be active, like swimming, paddleboarding, beachcombing, etc. I tried a stuffit g-string from Skinz, and it was not very comfortable, although great for sunning if you don’t wear it for too long.

Totally agree! For me, strings are great for when you want to feel sexy for a few minutes before stripping down, while thongs are much more conducive to all day wear.

I love the idea of a g-string and the revealing aspect of it. But when I get confident enough to wear one out in public, I feel a thong would be best suited for me.

Thongs all the way. Looks stronger.

I voted for thongs because they seem more accepted than g-strings. So, if I had to choose one style, it would be thongs. However, that’s not to say I don’t have and wear some g-strings.

For example, at Fort De Soto Park in Florida, I only wear my Skinz Stuffit Pouch g-string because it’s the closest I can get to being nude while still staying legal.

Thongs for me. I think strings are just too skimpy.

I rarely wear a thong these days. I find g-strings fit and feel better. If I am going to be out for more than several hours, I will put on a g-string at the local lake or a beach. There is really not much less fabric than wearing a thong.

Thong is always my choice, some more skimpy than others depending on the brand.

I was out with some friends, hanging out at the beach. I would say I love my Cocksox thong, but my friends were staring at how white my skin is compared to the Skinzwear g-string. They said the tan line shows a huge difference. But at the end of the day, I do like wearing a g-string to show off the thong tan line.

I prefer g-strings, especially with a thin spaghetti cord. It feels so uninhibited and natural.
The feeling of not wearing anything is great, but still within the law.
