Tight vs. Loose Fit

Been a 24/7 thonger for the past 30 years. I remember when I first started it was always a challenge to find the best/most comfortable fitting thong. Over the years you kinda figure it out through trial and error.

What I have noticed is that overall I like a tight fitting thong/g-string the best. The things I like about a tight fitting thong is the way it makes my bulge look and the tight feel of it between my cheeks. I always know it’s there which is half the fun. I do own some thongs/g-strings that are a bit looser that after a while you can’t even tell you’re wearing them.

My number 1 tight fitting thong is all of my Muscleskins poser thongs.

What do you guys think?

I prefer a thong that fits perfect. Too loose, you could have the sensation you’ll fall out or the side straps take on the bacon effect. Too tight, and it feels like you’re getting cut in half or the side straps dig in. I think over the years the pattern has gotten better. When thongs hit the mainstream, I remember the back strap being way too long. For me I’m in the middle.

I’ve got some lined ones with drawstrings and fairly flat fronts that fit pretty perfectly. They’re my “modest” thongs that stay on really well if the surf is rough.

I’ve got unlined ones (Skinz M67) that are a barely tighter because, with no drawstring, I want them to stay in place. They are still more modest than g-string or pouch-style thongs because my preference is to keep things pretty low-key.

My preference is snug is better. Most sizing charts have me as L, but I find my preferred fit (usually) comes with products that size M as 31-33” waist.

Nearly all my suits I end up adjusting a few stitches here, a few stitches there. The fit is nearly painted on but not uncomfortable. I prefer the boys up and a bit out, I don’t find the natural drape flattering at all, but unless a bit aroused it’s really difficult to tell the amount of lift.

I prefer thongs that keep a modest bulge. I’m already a small package person so most thong pouches tend to have more space. It’s another reason I prefer small pouch and seamless small pouch thongs with string sides. As long as they don’t slide while swimming or underwear that slides up and down, I would say exact fit.

Yes as a guy I love my thongs and I wear them 24/7 myself! Been wearing them 24/7 for about 20 yrs and I finally found the perfect brand! COCKSOX brand! They have a great built in bugle pocket which really enhances my package! They fit so good and been wearing them for about 10 yrs. and I hardly know and thing is between my cheeks now! I wear both smalls for a tighter fit and a better enhancement and mediums for a looser fit!

I prefer my swim thongs to have a tight fit around the waist so they don’t slide down while I am swimming. I am not really concerned with the front as long as there is enough room, so I am very tempted to try the ‘Transformation’ style from Koalaswim. ’

When I first dared wearing a thong to a beach, I would have answered this as follows: regular fit with a modest cut

Now as my confidence has grown and my taste has evolved, I prefer a fairly tight fit with a micro cut.

I’ve switched to more of a micro thong cut with thinner straps. I also size down for ocean swimming since I moved away from drawstrings and linings. And, I currently buy two sizes in the same style of thong and use the larger size which is still snug for resorts and spas.

The N2N brand is currently my favorite.

As loose as I can go without it being an issue in the water, whick is obstensibly not very loose. Too tight and you end up with butt crack chafing and “bikini line” chafing and the resulting bumps.

I like the Goldilocks solution. Not so tight it squeezes, not so loose it’s baggy with no support.

I’m the same TxMicro. I want my thong to fit tight but not digging in. I also want the pouch snug and supportive but not squeezing anything.

I definitely prefer them tight fitting but stretchy so they move with you. Joe Snyder is a good combination of tight and stretchiness.

I have tight, normal and loose. I wear the normal almost always (skinzM67), the loose occasionally (and I enjoy the movement allowed) and rarely wear the tight (JS G, or M55) although I like the idea of the tight fit, I just cannot wear them for long.

For me, I need a drawstring. For an article of clothing with such minimal coverage, I need it to feel secure.

Speaking of drawstring, do you tuck it in the suit or have the tie exposed? I do both.

I usually tuck the drawstring in so it’s invisible

Both. Out has a more sporty look. Tucked in is a cleaner look. I’m generally 50/50 on any given beach trip.

I like a medium fit because all the walking I do at the beach I don’t want to get chaffed. I often pull out the thong strap just to loosen it up a little. As far as drawstrings in or out, it varies.
