I like the Tropical Thongs brand. They have several different prints and styles. I own three different thongs from them and can say personally they are very comfortable!
Ordered one today … I’ll report back once I have it.

I’ll second this! Good fit, patterns, and material. I go with the “super slim ED”, which really isn’t as extreme as it sounds. I’d say it’s a suitable fit for any beach. Most of what I’ve gotten there tends to last only a few years, but that’s with frequent use, including chlorine. Considering the price though, I think that’s entirely reasonable. It gives a reason to keep your look fresh too!

My Tropical Thongs arrived yesterday. It’s great. Fits true to size. I only wish there were more options in the bulge style. I ordered a second one just now. I’m going to reach out and see if they will do custom suits as I saw they sell on Etsy as well. The bulge is similar to the Skinzwear M77 but at a fraction of the price. Quality is on par with my Skinzwear suits.
