My wife and I love soaking up the sun on the beach during the day but we also like to walk the beach at night in our thongs. We always stick to the more populated areas where it’s safe. Does anyone else enjoy walking the beach after dark?

In the Caribbean we enjoy walks during sunset and early evening but no later than that. Just because we’re tired and ready for dinner.

Yes, but also during the day. I love long sandy beaches for walks. Could do this all day.

So true. But there’s also an eerie feeling being by the ocean at night when you can’t see anything at all. A glimmer of light helps.

Depends. I love the beach so ill walk there at night in jeans and a tee shirt. It is rare I’ll do it in swimwear unless, I’m goong for a dip or returning from a spot that’s far from the parking. I often go on the water one last time after the sun goes down (Twilight). Last year I did a few night dips at Newport Beach, but it’s not a common thing.
