Through the years I’ve worn so many different styles and colors, as I’m sure you all have as well. But, I realized my “go to” thongs are the ones I wear the most.
I really love super bright solid colors, pink being my absolute favorite, and classic black. I like lower rise thongs, because I’m super short. I can wear them low or pulled up a little to give me the appearance of longer legs. I like thongs that have more fabric, because I feel they flatter my shape. But, it is definitely fun to wear the little tiny ones once in a while too, lol.
Currently, my favorite color is pink coral or rose gold in a thong. This color seems to somewhat blend in with my skin tone giving me a bit of a nude look. Traditionally, I prefer thongs in solid bright neon colors of yellow or green because they contrast nicely with my darker skin.
As far as style goes, I tend to mostly wear thongs with modest frontal coverage and with side straps
of around 1 and 1/4” width. This type of cut feels sporty to me.
Someday, I would like to try something different and wear a g-string in a pattern.
Style wise, I prefer a more classic thong with a full seamed pouch and one inch sides and back. A super skimpy g-string can be fun, but they’re definitely not my go-to choice.
Although I have traditionally stuck mainly to thongs in solid colors for the beach (mainly black, white, red, and shades of blue and green), I also really love wearing animal prints, as they give me a hyper masculine feeling, and geometric prints in bright colors.
My absolute favorite is the Cocksox Swim Thong. I purchased several in all available colors before the bright colors were discontinued. I did the same with the Cocksox Swim Briefs. They fit like a glove and never need adjusting. I wear the swim briefs to pools and beaches where thongs are not permitted. As of today, the color choices at Cocksox are limited. When I inquired, the company said the swimsuits are the least of their sales and the bright colors were not selling. I am glad they still sell the styles though. This is why I bought many discontinued colors.
When I want to wear even less to get minimal tan lines, I will wear the the-bikini.com teardrop g-string. These leave very little to the imagination, but cover everything that needs to be covered. I have these in both opaque colors and in see-through mesh colors. These suits are only worn in private or to more “cosmopolitan” beaches such as South Beach. I even wore them for two weeks at Daytona Beach, because thongs and g-strings are permitted.
All of these suits are in solid colors. I don’t care for the patterns from other brands. Wearing thongs and g-strings is “loud” enough. I feel I do not need to exacerbate any situation by wearing something in animal or geometric prints. I like clothes in classic colors. Even though these are all in solid colors, they are all unlined and some are slightly see through when wet.
