I hope your ladies will walk with you on the beach. It shows the other people it’s more normal for a guy in a thong. Plenty of times I have seen couples where the lady was wearing a full back bikini and the dude was in a thong. I thought it was cool they supported each other.

Having a female with a male wearing a thong normalizes it much more than a male on his own. I’ve never had a negative word said to me while my wife was with me. I even had a couple come up to my wife while I was in the water to tell her how great they thought it was and how they admired my confidence. When alone I’ve had a handful of comments from giggling/picture taking to an old lady telling me to, “put some clothes on.” To be fair though, she probably also told the females on the beach the same thing.

I joined this site just to respond to this question. I saw mens thong underwear for sale when I was 19 it seemed hot so I bought them. After that, it was the only underwear I wore. When I was dating my future wife at 22, (we both grew up in extremely conservative homes when it came to clothing) her sister bought a thong and my then girlfriend asked me what I thought about them thongs. I was freaked out but I told her the truth that I had been wearing them for a few years. She was surprised because she didn’t realize that was even an option for men. That day we went and bought her first pair together. I was scared but in my case, she was fascinated rather than offput. Worked out really well. 7 years later and we have kids, and the thong collection keeps growing.

I didn’t have to tell my girlfriend (wife now) because it was obvious that I wore one. She first found out that I wore one because when we were dating, I had a thong tan line. Hard to hide, but I certainly didn’t try to hide it. She was surprised when she first saw it but really liked it. I could not have been happier!

I’ve never hid the fact that I wear thongs. My partners have been surprised at first, but joyfully surprised. I’ve had a few questions about wearing a thong on the beach, but once there they were happy with my choice of swimwear. The tan line seems to be a big turn on as well.

I put off telling my wife that I wear thongs and I regret it. It’s taken some work but she has been accepting of them along with other things that are out of the “heterosexual norm” and I couldn’t be happier.

My wife knows and fully supports it. She also wears thong underwear daily and prefers to wear thong bikinis on the beach (so that helps).

I’ve never had issue. As a matter of fact I loved it everytime i surprised a new partner…
But those days are long gone now that I’ve been in a committed relationship for several years but my gf and I exclusively both wear thong underwear and thong swimwear…. it’s normal. It’s weird when we don’t…

I first discovered thong for men when I was already married for some year. When I told/showed my wife, she could not accept me wearing them. I still think this was one of the reasons our marriage ended.
So my when I met my current wife, she found out very soon. And she likes it. So no problem at all. We have visited hundreds of swimming pools and beaches all over Europe together.
So my experience is 50-50.
