Hello, everyone. It’s great to be amongst fellow thongers. I’m married, 68 years old, bisexual, and just about live in a thong. We retired, sold everything, and moved to Central America about three years ago. Unfortunately, Belize isn’t known for their beaches and it’s a very Christian country, so wearing a thong isn’t that acceptable. Except at our house! Because that’s just about all we wear.

Hello, Michael here from Ohio, originally Michigan. Thong/g-string wearer for well over 30 years now. Started when I was lucky enough to be stationed in Hawaii. Used to be incredibly shy, but, after seeing so many beautiful bodies at the beach in so little, went for it! No going back to dork shorts now! Next to being naked at the beach or pool, g-strings are a favorite! Looking forward to hearing from other thongers.

Hi, all. I started wearing thong swimsuits about two years ago and have one drawer in my room completely dedicated to them. I’m ALWAYS a bit apprehensive about wearing a thong in public, but when I do finally take my cover shorts off, I’m ALWAYS glad I can dig down and somehow get over the fear of wearing a thong swimsuit in front of other people.
My wife has been very supportive of my recent bathing suit choices and now very often wears a thong style bathing suit as well when we visit hotel resorts and spas in Palm Springs, CA. We also love to swim in the ocean at Laguna Beach, CA. We’ve also have thonged together recently in South Beach, Florida and even Mexico on the eastern side below Cancun.
Glad to see other people on this forum who enjoy wearing thongs!

I live in Colorado Springs, a very conservative town. There are two lakes in town where I have worn a thong. I am almost always the only one wearing one. I wish I could find a community of people who enjoy wearing them. I’m not sure about the legality of them, but I’ve never had any problems with the authorities. If I did, I think I would use the lack of intent to arouse or offend argument. Having more people wear them would sure make me feel more comfortable.

I’m glad to get the information about Belize. It’s always a shame when hot, humid tropical locales aren’t open to minimal swimwear. It just makes so much sense. Maybe one of the international naturists organizations could help you organize a movement to get them legalized.

Belize is a very set in its ways type country. Nothing is ever going to change here. So, I’ll just continue wearing my thongs and g-strings around our house. My only hope is for one of you guys to move next door.

We’ve been to Belize a couple of times. Placencia and the long stretch of beach north of town is wide open and no one was around to care even as a handful of tourists and locals walked by and noticed our thongs. Back in town, we got a couple of smiles and thumbs up when we walked into a bar.

That’s unfortunate. Still, their right is not greater than yours. If someone made a fuss I’d ask them how far down the beach would be far enough for them; rarely would anyone respond with off the beach completely. To avoid issues I’d pack up and move some 50-80 meters down the beach. Chances are, the next time they’d come to the beach they would happen to camp closer to you than the distance you put yourself the first time. Consistently this has been my experience and even struck up a conversation over the days or weeks that we shared the same stretch of beach. People don’t really want to be pricks and they feel guilty when they come across that way and given the opportunity they want to make amends, especially if they have seen that you’re cool and minding your own business.

Hello fellow thong wearers!! I’m just an average male who loves wearing a swim thong at the beach. Fortunately for me, it’s perfectly legal to wear them here in my home state of Texas. Being near the Houston area, I go to Galveston a good bit and have never had any issues. I do have an Instagram page with pictures posted and also chat on Kik. I’m married too and, like you, wore thongs for years at secluded/nude beaches, at hotels when my wife and I were traveling/on holidays, and at our home pool. I’ve only worn thongs more recently at public beaches and the gym (we don’t have a home pool anymore).
