Thank you so much.
Let’s all keep on thonging, and hopefully more will join us.

I’m Jakc. I’m in my early 40s and have been thonging in public since 2014 and in private since the early 00s. I live with my fiancée outside of Stockholm. I have an 8 month old baby boy and a teenage daughter from a previous marriage.
I’m a thong fetishist and have around 30-40 swim thongs. I’ve giving some away to curious men every now and then, and have converted (mostly) at least one other man, who is also straight and a father.
I mostly wear cheap AliExpress thongs of (quite often) surprisingly good quality. Desmiit is the one brand that stands out.
I’m also very into one piece thong swimsuits on women and have bought about the same amount of thongs for my fiancée.
Cheers!
Welcome. It’s nice to hear about your experience and love that you have a large thong collection. Do you ever post on social media?
I like how you convinced other guys to at least try a thong. Does that mean your family and friends know you wear thongs? I’d love to hear more about your experiences wearing thongs, especially in public.
Hey, everyone. Christian here. Many of you might already be familiar with my YouTube channel or Instagram account where I promote my life in a thong. It’s the only type of swimwear I own. I wear thongs around my wife, two daughters, and all of my friends. No one seems to mind. I’ve been told that my body was made for the thong life. My favorite places to wear thongs besides the pool/beach would be at outdoor EDM festivals or pool parties. My favorite thong brands are Grand Axis, Rayze Swimwear, and Charlie By MZ.
Keep it up everyone!
Hi! Frog from France here!
I started wearing thongs at the beach 3 years ago, and I won’t step back. I wear Desmiit thongs, and I just bought a swim thong from Bang for next summer. Very soft fabric with bright colors.
Here in France, thongs are very common for women, but you won’t see male thongers on the beach. However, it’s not a big deal to wear what you want. I’ve never had a problem, even on crowded beaches.
Hello, I don’t think I’ve posted here yet. I’m based in Southern California. I’ve always loved bikinis, but it took me a while to be comfortable wearing thongs to the beach. They are very common for women but still pretty uncommon for men. I have seen a few other guys wearing them, though.
For me, a thong is the only type of swimwear that stays 100% put, and I like to be active. Most of the thongs I wear are ones I made myself, but I do have a few from other manufacturers.
Having exclusively worn bikinis and thongs for the last 15 years (I own a pair of shorts and wore them once), it truly baffles me how common board shorts are. I’ll go to a beach, and all the guys are wearing long shorts with underwear poking out, while their girlfriends are in thongs. Luckily, most people out here don’t care, and anyone can rock one.
Hi! I’m 30 years old and from Pittsburgh, PA. I’ve had an obsession with thongs ever since I was 14 and saw an underwear thong at Burlington Coat Factory, of all places. As I got older, I was always jealous of women’s swimwear and how minimal and sexy their bottoms are cut. I’m bi and married to a man, and he accepts my thong obsession and will wear a thong with me every now and then, although he generally prefers to be more modest.
My first swim thong was a Desmiit thong from Amazon, and I wore it to Haulover Beach in Miami back in 2019. I now have over 50 swim thongs in my collection.
Recently, I took up sewing so I can modify swim briefs into thongs, and I’m currently learning to making a pattern from scratch.
In the past, I would only wear swim thongs to the beach when traveling, but more recently, I started wearing them for lap swimming and paddleboarding locally. I figured if we want men in thongs to be more socially accepted, the best way is to wear them out as much as possible. I’m glad to meet a bunch of like-minded folks here!
Oh, wow! That’s so cool you can make your own! I imagine that means picking your own cool prints, fabrics, and all that. Very cool, and awesome to represent swim thongs out there!
Hello! My name is Jeff, I’m 30, and I live in Utah. I got interested in thongs about 15 years ago, and now that’s all I wear! Due to the conservative nature of where I live, there aren’t a whole lot of lakes or places to go and enjoy being outside in a thong, unfortunately.
Glad I found this forum and looking forward to discussing thongs with all of you!
I’m in the same boat as you, being from Utah. It’s hard finding a place to wear a thong. I haven’t had any issues here, but I haven’t really tried to wear a thong in public either—haha. But I wish I could find a community too; it would be nice to find a group of like-minded people.
Hello to all. Joe, from the Midwest here. Middle-aged guy rocking the “dad bod” and wearing thongs anytime there’s water for the last several years. Fortunate to have an awesome wife that joins me too!
We are lucky to be able to travel to Caribbean beaches, but also spend a lot of time on Lake Michigan beaches.
Glad to see a new forum and some activity!
Hi, Joe. I’d love to know which Lake Michigan beaches you visit. I don’t have the confidence to wear a thong to the beach and would love to know if there are specific beaches where it is more acceptable.
Honestly, like you’ve probably seen in other posts, determining which beaches are thong-acceptable is probably 95% how you act and 5% what other people do.
We have been to Sleeping Bear, Petoskey, Saugatuck, Warren Dunes, Central Beach (Indiana State Park), Van Buren State Park, and more. We go to Van Buren most frequently (camping) and always wear thongs. Long walks on the beach in front of whoever is around have never caused any issues. Usually, we set up our spot a little away from people, which is as much a choice of not wanting to deal with people nearby as it is about what we wear. At Warren Dunes last year, though, the beach was busy, and we just had to set up right in the crowd. No one had a problem with our thongs—including when we walked back to the parking lot. In fact, there were even a couple of compliments from women.
I’m usually with family and friends, so there are no weird creeper vibes at all, and I’m certainly not acting like an exhibitionist or perv—just doing normal beach stuff like swimming, looking for rocks, laying out, and playing in the sand with the kids, etc.
Being confident and acting appropriately are the big secrets—even in the Midwest.
There was one time a woman tried to take some pictures, but that was about it!
Hi everyone!
I’m Neil (also known on IG as @atlasxboy). I started wearing thongs when I was around 16 and have been wearing them full-time for the last 16 years. That makes me 32, lol.
I’m originally Canadian, but moved to Belgium in May 2024 with my partner to travel Europe and experience life over here!
I’m always open to making more friends!
Hi, I am Tim from France.
I love thongs, and I’ve been wearing them since I was 11. I turned 40 this year. I started wearing them at the beach when I was 24–25, but I was in a relationship with a woman who didn’t like them, so my self-confidence took a hit.
I started wearing them in public again last year following a death in my family. It was an electroshock, and I realized that we only have one life to be happy. I feel so happy and free when I wear them that now, no matter the looks or comments, I don’t really care. I wear them in hotels, at the pool, at the beach, etc.
Because long live the thong, the thong for all, long live the thong power!
Kevin from Southern California—about halfway between LA and SD on the sand. Laguna is my go to for enjoying time in a thong, as most people here are already in them—yes, including men. Certainly not as many as the gals, but it’s definitely more comfortable here. It’s usually the insecure guys that act weird; the gals are always complimenting and supportive.
Simple rule in life, rock the bod you got and don’t pass judgement on others doing the same.
See ya at the beach…
Well said. Thanks for joining our community, @Longboardk.
