The ocean is thong friendly and I see morning swimmers every year I am at SS swimming parallel to the shore. But like jtanguy said, you will have to research that on your own.
@HizurTees — Both locations (Fort Lauderdale Beach and Haulover Beach) are definitely very thong-friendly. In past years, some of us from SunSplash have made the drive from Fort Lauderdale down to Haulover Beach, but it can easily take about 45 minutes to an hour each way.
Because of that, we’ve decided to stick with our regular spot on Fort Lauderdale Beach. We usually meet up at Vistamar Street Beach, located right along A1A, where many of the SunSplash thongers gather on the **Saturday of the July weekend event.
