This is Chris from Germany. I’m a thong enthusiast since I was about 16/18 and now, I’m in my 40s I wear thongs always - as underwear, beachwear at beaches and public pools. My girlfriend and my friends don’t know me in anything else but thongs

Hello from Maine! I am thong enthusiast that wears thongs as underwear and swimwear. I frequent the beach at pine point in Scarborough Maine frequently. There are a few other thong wearers there. Mixed gender, more female than male. It has been a really nice summer here and I have some nice tan-lines. I am a member of the thong board and also usg, which is soon to shut down. Welcome to the forum Monica. I used to live in Zephyrhills, FL (just north of Tampa) in the 80’s. Now I live in PA. I wish I was back in Florida, especially since I began wearing swim thongs and g-strings in public.
Per what I have read on another forum, Fort Lauderdale is a hot spot for thongs and g-strings. You shouldn’t have any trouble finding like minded people to join you at the beach and pools in Fort Lauderdale. From what I have read and the pictures I have seen, a lot of people wearing thongs and g-strings do standup paddle boarding in the inlet.

Hi from Carmel Valley, CA. I came across this site as I was perusing the internet to see how other guys felt about wearing thongs in public settings. I swam competitively in high school many years ago and wore Speedo suits. Back then wearing swim briefs was not an issue especially in competitively swimming. I haven’t swum much since then, just an occasional trip to the beach and I wore gym shorts or similar. Up until about two years ago I wore boxer briefs as underwear and really never thought much about them. I was used to them. Then one day I was looking at myself in the mirror and thought maybe I should try something a bit sexier so I bought my first thong underwear. It took a bit of time and quite a few different types to find what felt comfortable. Wearing a thong takes some getting used to. After finding I liked thong underwear I also decided to get a swim thong. My first ones were from Amazon as it’s quick, easy and relatively inexpensive. I acquired a few more then discovered Skinzwear and I now have several of their suits and really like then. I started off by wearing them at home to sun tan. This was also new to me as I had never previously laid out just to get tanned. I also joined a local swim/fitness club and have started to swim again. I have been wearing a Skinz brief as I wasn’t sure how accepting the club and other members would be to see a man wearing a thong. In many visits to the club I have only seen the occasional swim trunks and mostly board shorts. i have never seen a guy in even skimpy briefs let alone a thong. To me, board shorts aren’t even long shorts, they are short pants and why anybody would choose to swim in pants is beyond me. Also, if you having pale thighs with the rest of your body tanned seems weird. I occasionally see a woman (usually young) in a thong bikini and so I figured if they could wear a thong then so could I. So two days ago I wore a thong (one of my more conservative ones, but still a thong) and laid out for about an hour- front and back side up. I’m not sure that anyone even noticed as it wasn’t very crowded and no on was very close. I didn’t get up and walk around. Today I went again and this time I told myself I’m going to get up and walk to the hot tub. So, I did and no on batted an eye. Maybe no one even noticed. I sat in the tub and chatted with others then walked back to my chaise lounge. When I left I pulled on my shorts and walk out and no one even glanced at me. So, a bit of apprehension, but no big deal. I enjoyed laying out with almost total exposure and will do it again and may even swim my laps in the thong. If the fog will stay away from the coast I hope to go to the beach next week and will probably wear one of my riskier thongs. However, atthis time of the year there aren’t a lot of people at the beach so probably no one will notice or care.

You’ve had the genuinely amazing revelation that, for the most part, nobody actually cares (at least not enough to comment) and that there is no angry beach god who will strike you down with a bolt of lightning. Now you can enjoy wearing swimsuits that aren’t the absolute worst tool for the job. Just read the room and it’s all good.
Was this at your health club where they have an outdoor pool? Unfortunately where I go, LA Fitness, they do not have outdoor pools. Several Lifetime Fitness clubs have outdoor pools which is great. I would love to join but the memberships are quite expensive. I have seen some women sunning in thongs in the one near my house so they are accepted.
I guess I forgot to do this part when I joined lol. I live up here in the Pacific Northwest. I found this forum by accident but I’m glad I did! I’ve been wearing thongs to my favorite beach for a little over a year and I love it! It’s October now so summer is over
